Hi all, just a quick intro before I start blogging in anger…
John Allen here, solutions engineer for the Autodesk Infrastructure portfolio in Northern Europe. My focus is on solutions for the planning, conceptual design and management phases in the BIM process, so you’ll continue to hear from Jack et al about all things Civil and I’ll try to add some insight around the edges.
My background is primarily geospatial, with a masters degree in GIS for Business & Service Planning and 10 years’ experience working to help customers utilise spatial data to achieve results in the form of real business value.
I live in Brighton, UK, and when not messing around with maps I am a musician (I play jazz trombone and do the odd bit of singing) and play football and squash adequately!
